Abaca Baking Company Review

Filed under: Food — Tags: — rvchua @ 12:59 pm

abacaWhen I learned that refillable brewed coffee at Abaca was only P60, I knew I had to make time to go there. Last Friday was a holiday (Feast of Ramadan), so after an early hot yoga class I went on foot to Crossroads. It was still around 8:30AM but Abaca was packed. I had their coffee and a seed bagel which interestingly has sea salt. I also tried their large chocolate croissant. I was there for 2 hours talking, looking at the interesting artwork, admiring the breakfast/brunch crowd of Cebu, soaking in the vibe of what is Abaca Baking Company. I was also impressed with their staff who are knowledgeable, vibrant and friendly. They also have superfast wifi which I only managed to use for a few minutes because I was distracted by the conversation and the copious amounts of coffee. The picture on the left shows my breakfast on my second cup of coffee.

I am planning to go back there soon (though I don’t have any reasons to go to Cebu anymore) to try out their menu (which I never saw!)/ I saw other people eating waffles and eggs benedict, I will be dreaming about it until my next visit!
