Adidas by Stella McCartney Tennis Bag

Filed under: Shopping, Sports, Style — rvchua @ 1:38 pm

Doesn’t this look awesome for the gym! It doesn’t matter that it is a tennis bag! Downsides are it easily gets dirty and very expensive.

Gymnastics of the Past

Filed under: Sports — rvchua @ 2:26 pm

When I was a freshman in high school, we had gymnastics for our PE. During the finals, we had to perform a floor routine. This 86-year old gymnast does a better job than I did when I was 13. I remember that my score was below average.

The Fed’s Offspring

I used to drool over this guy and had many dreams to finally meet him in person. The nearest we have been together was when he was in Basel, Switzerland and I was in Milan, Italy. It seems he is now officially off limits.

Livepool vs AC Milan

Filed under: Sports — rvchua @ 5:16 am

No, I did not go to Athens to watch the UEFA Champions League Final between Liverpool & AC Milan. There is a pub/restaurant just downstairs from my residence, the major draws of the establishment are the live football matches. So the moment AC Milan scored its first goal in Athens, the whole building shook from the loud stomping and yells from the people downstairs and on the street. I turned on the TV and saw the people going wild not only in Athens but also at Piazza Duomo. A couple of hours later I knew that AC Milan won when people went berserk and drivers kept blaring their horns. I don’t know when the noise finally died down but I slept fitfully most of the time.

They really love their football here. I usually stay in at night since I am afraid that it might go violent like in Rome last year. But one of these days I plan to soak up the atmosphere. Actually I am more excited that the French Open is starting this Sunday and I really do hope that Roger Federer wins this time around.
